Acceptance of Terms
By using any Tools HQ tool, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Description of Service
Tools HQ provides free, browser-based utility tools: a timezone meeting planner, PDF merge/split/organize tools, a currency converter, developer tools (JSON formatter, Base64/URL encoder, timestamp converter), and math calculators. Most tools run entirely in your browser and require no account or signup.
Eligibility
Tools HQ is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, please use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the service; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any technical protections beyond what applicable law permits; or use any tool to process content you don't have the right to process (for example, PDF files you don't have permission to modify).
Intellectual Property
The Tools HQ name, design, and original code are owned by us and protected by copyright — see the copyright notice included in the site's source. Some tools use open-source third-party libraries (including pdf-lib and pdf.js), each under its own license; using those libraries here doesn't grant you any rights beyond what those licenses themselves provide.
No Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that any tool's output (including currency conversion rates, calculator results, or timezone data) is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tools HQ and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tools HQ and its operators harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Advertising & Third-Party Links
The service may display third-party advertisements and may link to third-party websites. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party ad content or the content of linked sites.
